Riley Collins is the author of a growing number of science fiction/space opera novels. Basically, he writes books about people flying through space, shooting things, and having feelings while doing it.
He has had a lifelong love of science fiction and fantasy and is passionate about creating and exploring new worlds, stories, and characters. He counts Isaac Asimov, Robert Jordan, Piers Anthony, Brandon Sanderson, and Robert Heinlein as some of his favorite writers, though there are so many more.
Riley has held many jobs in addition to being an author. He is a devoted husband, father of four, technology leader, Army officer, combat veteran, former firefighter, science fiction fan, avid reader, and aspiring traveler. If you see him in the wild it will probably be at a kids sporting event, comic book convetion, or renaissance festival.
